The Appalachian Mountain Ministry is booming with donations from the public, Goodwill, the Methodist Children’s Center in Macon and the Cochran Thrift Store.  We are averaging over a load a week.
We are now taking goods to several sites.  We support sites in Copperhill, TN, Williamsburg, KY, Rogersville, TN, Speedwell, TN, Taylor, SC, Manchester, KY, Knoxville, TN, and will be supporting Bland, VA and Jefferson City, TN soon.
The people in Copperhill, TN are in need of box fans.  There are many elderly folks there who have no fans or AC.  If you would like to donate a fan to this ministry, please bring them to our location next door to the Rehoboth Association.
We still have need of volunteers to help with the packing on Tuesday mornings and with loading the truck on Tuesday evenings.  We would also appreciate any monetary donations towards the purchase of fuel for the truck.  You can make your check to Rehoboth Baptist Association and indicate that it is for the Appalachian Mountain Ministry.  Please pray about how you can help.
We are very excited that we will soon have a new building which will house all of the ministry work.  We will have more room, it will be more comfortable for the packers and easier on the loaders as we will have a loading ramp!
I would also like to thank all of the men and women from OBC who are helping with this ministry.  God will surely bless you for the service you provide.

Pete Soots, Ministry Director
