Circumstances
by Mike Winfree on October 1, 2020Dear Church,
Recently. We had to replace the air unit in the Educational building. The equipment stopped doing what was required of it and action had to be taken to correct the problem, so everything once again worked as it should.
Then we had a tropical storm dump seven inches of rain and once again it showed us vulnerable areas in our buildings that were not protected as they could and should be.
As I thought about these things it reminded me that life is that way. One day everything is going good and the next day it isn’t. Circumstances many times reveal our weak areas. Areas we thought were safe and secure.
God knows us through and through. He is in the process of growing us up in Him. There are times He has to let something fail or reveal a weak area that we thought was strong, so we will call on Him, rely on Him, Trust in him.
I hope during this pandemic you have realized how good it is to be together with the body of Christ. We are now having all three services and many have returned. Awana is up and running and better than ever. Women Blessing Women have been meeting.
In November our Men’s Ministry will begin to meet again. Sunday School will begin meeting in person in January. Many classes are meeting each week on-line.
The Church must come together. The Bible says, “The gates of hell will not prevail against it.” Jesus is our Victor. We must be safe, but we must come together and worship the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Remember, Faith not Fear. Invite guests and join us.
Serving the Savior,
Pastor Mike
