Dear Church,

May is the month set aside to celebrate our mothers. In my opinion mothers are the second greatest thing God gave us, Christ being the greatest. One person said “They are the glue that holds the family together.”

My mother was a warm, gentle, caring, loving, nurturing person. She was always there when we needed her. You could tell her anything and she wasn’t judgmental. That is the picture I have of a great mom. She’s not here for me to tell her anymore. If yours is, cherish the time, you only have one mother.

All of you mothers that read this, God bless you. Thank you for what you do. It may not get said as often as it should,  but you are loved and appreciated. I know for two ladies in our church, Mother’s Day this year will be special because it is their first one. Congratulations Michelle and Fauna on your first Mother’s Day.

Provbers 31:10 says “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.”

We are continuing to see people come back to worship in house and returning to Sunday School. Last Sunday was our highest attendance in Sunday School since we started back. Praise the Lord! We are having many guest come. We are grateful for that. We need to do all we can to greet them and to make them feel welcome.

Last, let me address a need. We NEED any and every available lady who can help in the Nursery to do so. We should not have to beg people to serve these precious children God has blessed us with.

Serving the Savior,

Pastor Mike
